✅ Verified Café
About this café:
We are a cat café, cat rescue and community interest company in Wallsend, which houses between five and eight rescue cats at any time. We use the cafe as a platform to socialise and rehome the cats in our care.
Our primary purpose is to provide cat lovers with a space to enjoy the company of cats while they have something to eat or drink. We also aim to educate children how to interact with cats positively – hopefully leading to a lifetime of them caring for animals and treating them with respect. Finally, we aim to socialise our rescue cats away from a traditional shelter environment, before rehoming them. We require customers to make a booking before visiting, preferably at least a few hours before they want to attend.
